It will take 3-4 months to complete the Google IT Support Professional Certificate. This will vary depending on previous IT and computer engineering backgrounds, learning speeds, and hours committed per day. Although Google suggests a 6-month completion time, most finish the program earlier within 3-4 months.
The Google IT Support Professional Certificate is quite a content-heavy certificate.
This can make it tougher for beginners with zero experience in IT, extending the time it takes to complete the entire certificate.

The Google IT Support Professional Certificate is not equivalent to a degree. The certificate does not provide equal recognition and rigor as a degree yet.
